Hayward started his career wearing Nike shoes, then switched to New Balance after signing an endorsement deal with the brand. However, that deal didn’t affect his decision to sign up for another deal with Chinese sneaker brand Anta. As he continued to wear these brands’ shoes for years after his first deal with Anta in 2018, Gordon became accustomed to them. As a result, he collaborated with Anta to launch his own signature shoe line. His first signature shoe, the Anta GH 1 debuted during the 2019-2020 NBA season. As the Anta GH signature line gained popularity in such a short time, the company re-signed him to a 5-year extension in 2022 to continue manufacturing Anta GH signature shoes.
Gordon Hayward is currently devoted to Anta, especially the GH line of shoes. Considering his last few matches, it’s safe to say that he prefers to hit the court wearing the Anta GH 3, which he also sported during a recent match.
